Well I did it yet again.
Sold some others to make way for this bad boy which is a left handed version and part of the Panerai Historic Line. Should arrive within week's time and will take some hi-res photos with the camera and studio. In the meantime to hold us over here is a video from a member on the boards showcasing his Panerai 219K which is just a tad bit older than the one I sourced.
If you look at his other videos he also shares an impeccably restored Tudor Big Block Chronograph which is on my radar for my next big purchase somewhere down the line.
This version is the earliest of the plastic crystal big blocks with reference number 94300.
The silver dial and black subdials makes it a dead ringer for the Rolex 6263 which is one of the most sought after Rolex in history and retains a value in upwards of $30K. If you have a second take a look at the Paul Newman Daytona in 18K gold. Not a timepiece for the faint of heart!
